Simply put, there are not many viruses around for the Mac (OS X) because it is a small target market for the virus writers. However, they are out there. If you are running 10.5 or later, you can run iAntiVirus. If you are running 10.4 or earlier, you can run ClamXAV. Both have FREE versions and if you think you have the more common re-direct virus you can run this free program.

A re-direct virus will often take you to a different website than one you clicked on in a google search, etc.

Generally, if something weird seems to be happening or a program shows up on your pc and you are sure you did not install it, Turn if off and call us!

If you leave the computer on, the infection can get worse!

It’s been a busy year here but I would just like to keep any of our new and existing customers up to date.

Once again we were able to contribute to $100 The Harbour Lights Campaign - double from last year and we hope to double it again next year!

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to many customers whom have donated unwanted and old equipment which we have refurbished and donated to our Non-Profit clients. Monitors, Printers, computers - the non-profit agencies send many thanks to you all for your contributions!

We hope the holidays were a joyous time for all of our customers and we look forward to serving you in this New Year!

We also hope to update our site more often too! (A New Year’s Resolution that’s more realistic than losing 20lbs, hehe)
